Georgia running back Washaun Ealey suffered an MCL sprain last week against Kentucky and head coach Mark Richt is uncertain if Ealey will start on Saturday against Florida. Here's what Richt had to say about Ealey's injury.
"It’s bothering him right now, but in a few days it’ll subside, and you add a little adrenaline, and it’ll be fine."
Ealey rushed for 157 yards on 28 carries with five touchdowns last week and looks to put up the same numbers against a Florida defense that gives up 131 rush yards per game which ranks eighth in the SEC. Ealey is expected to play, but if he can't start expect running back Caleb King to get the nod who is coming off a two-game suspension.
In other injury news, cornerback/ punt returner
Branden Smith is
cleared to play on Saturday after missing the last three games due to a concussion. Smith will not likely start at corner, but defensive coordinator Todd Grantham said he will be worked in during the game.
