SEC Football Final Score: Arkansas Razorbacks Do Exactly What You'd Expect Against Vanderbilt, 49-14

With QB Ryan Mallet back at full strength, the No. 19 Arkansas Razorbacks obliterated the Vanderbilt Commodores, winning 49-14 in Fayetteville and outgaining Vandy 555 yards to 153. The ’Dores actually led 14-7 at the end of the first before Arkansas peeled off 42 straight points.

Mallett threw for 409 yards and three touchdowns, 87 each to Jarius Wright and Greg Childs, as Knile Davis ran for 82 and two touchdowns. Nobody on the Vandy offense did anything worth reporting because, again, 153 yards. Oh and Vanderbilt turned the ball over twice.

6-2 Arkansas travels to South Carolina next week, with big SEC West games against the Mississippi St. Bulldogs and LSU Tigers on the way. The 2-6 Commodores have an invigorated Florida Gators squad to contend with before getting the Kentucky Wildcats, Tennessee Volunteers, and Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
