I just spent five minutes trying to find something the Maryland Terrapins are exceptionally good or bad at. They have the ACC’s second-best turnover margin, largely due to being third in the conference in interceptions … AH HA, here it is.
They lead the ACC in punt returns by a little over five yards per punt. Third in the nation, matter of fact. And the N.C. State Wolfpack are 10th in the ACC in punt yardage, ahead of only the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, who are down to like their third punter, and the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, who’ve smuggled Riley Skinner back in and taught him how to swing a leg, so look out on those fourth downs!
Yes, this is kind of a big game — State can go to the ACC Championship Game with a win. But beyond me going on and on yet again about how much I like Russell Wilson and how Jon Tenuta’s blitzfense actually works for the most part here, I’m spent. Maryland seems to be the most ACC team ever. Can I start betting now on this team losing its bowl game?
