All the talk can come to an end tonight as the Georgia Bulldogs and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets go to war between the hedges. Earlier in the week the Bulldogs were favored in the game by 13.5 points and then it was lowered by one point to 12.5. You can find the piece talking about the point spread here.
But now that it's game day, the point spread has risen to 14 according to the guys at Odds Shark. Why did that happen? Part of it may have to do with the Aaron Murray injury but it was known by everybody he was going to play. As for the over/under goes (which wasn't set earlier this week) it is set at 57.5-58. That sounds about right because both teams can score and both teams have struggled stopping opposing teams from scoring.
Will Georgia win by 14? It's tough to say because the last two games have come down to the wire. But one thing is for sure, if Georgia loses to Tech at Sanford tonight, Tech fans who are at the game may want to get out of town ASAP.
