The Georgia Bulldogs need to win the game against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in order to get to six wins for the season and become bowl eligible. In order for them to earn win number six, they would have to get off to a fast start. They did just that as Aaron Murray threw a 66-yard touchdown pass to Kris Durham to put Georgia up 7-0.
The score was set up thanks to a Orwin Smith fumble deep in Georgia territory and was recovered by the Bulldogs, which was huge because the Yellow Jackets were on the verge of scoring.
So far, Murray is 3-for-4 with 95 yards and one touchdown. Two passes have gone to A.J. Green and the other was the TD pass to Durham.
The Georgia defense has looked sharp as well. On Tech's opening series, they were stopped short on a fourth-and-two play and on their next drive was when Smith fumbled. Now I can see why UGA is a 14 point favorite.
