It looked as if the Georgia Bulldogs were going to pull away, as they were up by seven and looking to convert a fourth-and-one at the Tech five-yard line. But Aaron Murray ran the QB sneak for no gain and Georgia turned it over on downs. That led to a Tech drive which went 90 yards on 14 plays and ended with a Roddy Jones 12-yard touchdown run to tie the game at 14 late in the second quarter.
It was a series where Tech ran the ball 13 times and threw only once. The Yellow Jackets used a lot of Anthony Allen, Jones and Orwin Smith and the UGA defense had no answer for the Georgia Tech running game. UGA defensive coordinator Todd Grantham has to do something with his front seven alignment because the Tech offense is running up the middle at will. If they don't make the adjustments, it's going to be a long game for the Bulldogs.
