It was important for Georgia to score before halftime because the Jackets is on fire. On the first play of the second half, Tech opened the game with a Telvin Washington 40-yard pass to Stephen Hill. That led to a Embry Peeples 19-yard touchdown run to tie the game at 14.
It's safe to say the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets have the Georgia Bulldogs on tilt because the Bulldog defense has no answer for the Tech offense. Washington is 4-for-4 passing with 64 yards. The Yellow Jackets leading rusher is Anthony Allen who has 86 yards on 14 carries. Roddy Jones has 60 yards on six carries and one touchdown.
Georgia looked to answer, but Washaun Ealey fumble deep in Georgia Tech territory and a was recovered by Tech. Things are not looking good for Georgia. They have already turned the ball over twice and do not have an answer for Tech's offense. This would be a devastating loss for UGA if things don't change.
