Idaho St. Bengals Vs. Geogria Bulldogs, Kris Durham Injury: WR Will Miss Game Due To Bruised Lung

Kris Durham took a big hit from Florida safety Will Hill in the second quarter from last week's game and because of that he will miss the game against Idaho State Saturday afternoon.

Durham did not practice Tuesday because of a bruised lung he suffered on the hit and head coach Mark Richt said it's unlikely he will play at all against the Bengals.

This is a good move for a number of reasons. First, Georgia is playing a team that plays in the FCS and has lost seven consecutive games. So Richt can afford to have some of his starters sit out and get some of the younger players into the game. Also, with the Auburn Tigers on the horizon, they will need all the help they can get.

Right now, Georgia stands at 4-5 and will have to basically win out to reach a bowl game. So if any Georgia starter is dinged up, Richt needs to rest them as much as they can because if Georgia want's to play in a bowl game, they need to be close to 100 percent when it comes to health when they take on Auburn and Georgia Tech.
