With the LSU Tigers beating the Alabama Crimson Tide, the Auburn Tigers have the best chance of any team of reaching the SEC Championship Game. With a win at home next week over the Georgia Bulldogs, they'll earn a spot in Atlanta. Failing that, they can clinch with a win the following week over Alabama. They hold a tiebreaker over LSU, in the event both teams finish with one loss.
LSU can get in if it beats Arkansas and Ole Miss and both Georgia and Alabama beat Auburn. With Les Miles at the helm, you're free to rule out whatever you like; just know that the college football gods have not. Especially the crazy ones.
The Bayou Bengals have represented the West in four of the past nine championship games, while the War Tigermen made it to Atlanta three times from 1997 to 2004. LSU has won three, while Auburn has one.
These standings assume Arkansas holds on to beat South Carolina and Ole Miss beats Louisiana-Lafayette, but Arky and Mississippi aren't really relevant in determining who wins the division.
