2011 NFL Draft: Da'Quan Bowers, Robert Quinn, Brandon Harris Lead ACC Prospects

One of the biggest debates surrounding next year’s NFL Draft will be whether the team with the No. 1 pick should take the sure thing, A.J. Green, or the potential franchise quarterback, Andrew Luck. Another guy in the mix, and just a spot behind either according to Mocking The Draft’s top-200 list, is Clemson Tigers DE Da’Quan Bowers.

Bowers led the nation in sacks, sack yards, and tackles for loss yardage on his way to winning the Bronko Nagurski Award.

Other ACC players ranked near the top: North Carolina Tar Heels DE Robert Quinn, No. 9; Miami Hurricanes CB Brandon Harris, No. 18; Canes DL Allen Bailey, No. 22; Florida St. Seminoles guard Rodney Hudson, No. 26; Boston College Eagles OT Anthony Castonzo, No. 27; N.C. State Wolfpack LB Nate Irving, No. 34, and so forth.

MTD has 35 ACC players in its top 200 — for reference, a few more than 224 players will be selected in next year’s draft. UNC and Clemson make the most appearances, with nine and seven respectively.
