Well, nobody’s died yet, but other than that the Georgia-Mississippi State game has gotten off to about as bad a start as it could have if you’re a red and black partisan. Georgia was held to a three-and-out on its first possession — which included yet another sack of Aaron Murray, to go with the six he suffered last week against Arkansas — and punted to the MSU 47. From there, the same State offense that looked so absolutely decrepit against LSU last week rumbled down the field like a finely tuned machine, going 53 yards in just four plays to score the game’s first TD on a distressingly easy 13-yard run by (freshman) RB Vick Ballard.
Time to hunker down, kids.
