Florida Vs. Georgia Score: Trey Thompkins And Dawgs Up 41-39 At Halftime

The crowd at Stegeman Coliseum isn’t overjoyed by the officiating we’ve enjoyed in tonight’s SEC East showdown. The Georgia Bulldogs hold a slim halftime lead over the Florida Gators, but a string of questionable foul calls at the beginning of the game and a somewhat dubious traveling call on Travis Leslie near the end of the half have Dawgs fans seeing red.

Because they’re wearing it and they are looking at their shirts in anger! No.

Trey Thompkins leads Georgia with 11 points and nine rebounds, contributing to UGA’s mighty 23-to-11 rebounding advantage. If the Gators hadn’t already gotten to shoot 17 free throws, this lead could be pretty significant by now. Well, that, and the extremely sloppy ball-handling Georgia suffered during a fired-up early stretch, when Florida amassed seven steals. This game is nuts.

Florida’s Kenny Boynton is your leading scorer overall, with 13.

The Dawgs are hitting most of their shots, while Florida is shooting almost 45 percent.
