Georgia’s 2011 football recruiting class is drawing raves for being a top-10 assortment composed mostly of in-state talent, but a few big announcements on Wednesday could make it a statement of a class for Mark Richt. Four of the five players listed in Ray Drew’s call to arms will also announce on Wednesday, with DT John Jenkins waiting until Saturday.

Isaiah Crowell, the nation’s top running back, is expected to announce his commitment on national signing day at 1:30 pm ET. Alabama is in the running, but all signs point to him becoming a Dawg.

Four-star Tennessee OT Antonio Richardson lists Georgia along three other SEC schools and Miami among the schools in the running for his services. Of the five, Georgia and Auburn are the only two schools to which he’s taken official visits. He's been saying for months that he expects to choose on signing day. He's expected to announce at 10 am ET on signing day.

Kent Turene, a three-star LB from Florida, recently de-committed from USC and took a Texas Tech visit. Nebraska and Georgia are the only other schools he’s visited. He'll announce at 10 am ET on signing day.

Another recent de-committer, four-star North Carolina DE Jeoffrey Pagan, is a strong Georgia lean after leaving Clemson. He'll announce at 9 am ET on signing day.

The Dawgs are very much in the thick of it for all four players, with Crowell and Pagan appearing to be in the bag. (And hey, remember that moment long, long ago when UGA fans wanted rid of Richt?)
