According to Chip Towers, tonight’s the night to find out whether a pair of four-star recruits will be joining the Georgia Bulldogs. Both Griffin DE Xzavier Dickson and Troup RB Quan Bray are planning to announce their commitment at tonight’s Under Armour High School All-America Game.
Dickson is adamant he’s breaking a tie between Georgia and the Alabama Crimson Tide by coin flip, and has kept that same story going to multiple teammates. We can respond with incredulity, or we can remember BCS standings decide which teams get to go to eight-figure bowl games and just shrug.
Dickson has been offered scholarships by nine SEC and ACC schools, plus Middle Tennessee and Purdue, bless their hearts. Bray’s list of offers looks much the same, but with Oklahoma State and Stanford among the non-Southeastern schools. Both are among the top ten players in the state according to Rivals and would instantly be among the best player’s in Georgia’s 2011 class.
