Cotton Bowl Final Score: LSU Rocks Texas A&M, 41-24

If the LSU Tigers pass for more than 150 yards and/or three touchdowns against your defense, your defense is horrible. Texas A&M’s defense is horrible.

LSU backs Stevan Ridley and Spencer Ware each ran for 100 yards, QB Jordan Jefferson was good for 225 total yards (112 of those through the air to Terrence Tolliver), LSU’s defense forced four turnovers and a touchdown that was called back by a penalty undocumented by FOX’s camera crew, and the Aggies held the ball for only 22 minutes. Damn, Mr. Miles.

The Tigers improve to 11-2 and clinch a top-10 finish, the Aggies fall to 9-4 and could exit the top 20.

Arkansas is still the only SEC West team to lose a bowl game this year. SEC bowl games remaining: the Compass Bowl between Kentucky and Pitt and the BCS National Championship Game.
