The 6’0, 175lbs Cornerback out of Grady High School made it official today at the US All-American Game in San Antonio.
With a proclamation of “Go Dawgs!” Swann grabbed the University of Georgia cap. He choose the Bulldogs over Alabama and Southern Cal.
“My heart is at Georgia. I’m ready to help bring the program back,” Swann told the NBC national television audience.
This is huge get for Mark Richt and 2nd year DC Todd Grantham. Swann is a tremendous cover corner with very good top end speed and long arms. Swann will need to hit the weight room hard upon arrival in Athens but has the frame to do it.
Damian is the 9th 4 star recruit to commit to the Bulldogs and the second Bulldog to pledge in 2011 along with Lee County WR Sanford Seay. Swann is also the first Metro Atlanta verbal in nearly 5 months.
