Georgia vs. Mississippi State Score: MSU Cuts Lead on Murray Pick-Six, 24-10

After accomplishing virtually nothing in the second half against a stout Georgia defense, Mississippi State scored its first touchdown of the day on Aaron Murray's career high third interception of the game, a 72-yard return for a touchdown by defensive back Darius Slay. Murray now has six interceptions in 2011 after throwing only eight all of last season.

Georgia had been grinding the clock on 21-point lead, calling seven consecutive rushing plays before Slay undercut a pass intended for Orson Charles down the sideline. Mississippi State had managed only 177 yards of total offense (only 56 rushing), and threw an incomplete pass on 4th and 14 on the UGA 30-yard-line earlier in the fourth quarter. Georgia's defense has confounded both State quarterbacks, as the Starkville Dogs are 4 of 14 on third downs.
