SEC Football Scores, Standings: Alabama-LSU, UGA-South Carolina Vying For Division Crowns

LSU and Alabama are still tops in the SEC while Georgia heads into its annual match up with Florida in Jacksonville trying to keep pace with South Carolina in the Eastern Division.

Things are tight at the top of the SEC where both division races are up for grabs with a colossal match up on tap in the Western Division on Nov 5. Both LSU and Alabama lead the SEC West with perfect 5-0 records and will enjoy bye weeks as they prepare for their upcoming showdown in Tuscaloosa. LSU smashed Auburn while Alabama crushed Tennessee this weekend. Both teams appear to be the best the SEC has to offer this season.

At the top of the SEC East is South Carolina and Georgia with identical 4-1 records. The Gamecocks hold the tiebreaker over the Bulldogs thanks to their victory earlier this season. However, South Carolina comes out of the bye week knowing that it much navigate the rest of its schedule without leading rusher Marcus Lattimore. At 2-3, Florida isn't in its normal spot in the East standings heading into its annual showdown with Georgia in Jacksonville. The Gators will look to even its conference mark in what is a critical match up for the Bulldogs.
