John Brantley Injury Update: Florida QB Probable Vs. Georgia, Says Will Muschamp

You are not surprised to learn Florida Gators coach Will Muschamp is saying John Brantley will likely play against the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday. He's been hopeful regarding Brantley's status for a while, but updated the state of affairs on Monday:

Florida coach Will Muschamp says John Brantley is not ready to play as of today, but he sees no reason why he wouldn't progress to play Sat.

Muschamp also added that the No. 2 spot on the depth chart is unclear, with both Jacoby Brissett and Jeff Driskel preppring to take over if needed. If you're just now joining us, Brantley was injured against the Alabama Crimson Tide. Since then, Brissett and Driskel have struggled against OHHH just the two best defenses in the country.

Cornerback Jeremy Brown is Florida's only scratch due to injury so far.
