Chris Rainey Injury: Florida Star Downed Early Against Georgia

Florida Gators weapon Chris Rainey suffered an injury in the first quarter against the Georgia Bulldogs. He went down hard while getting twisted up by Brandon Boykin in the backfield, and was holding his right knee while lying on the ground.

He walked off the field gingerly, but without assistance. No update as of yet on his condition or status for the rest of the game, but I'd expect him to at least miss some time in this game. We'll update once we know more.

He was set on a trainer's table and surrounded by medical staff. If he's unable to return, Florida will just have to rely on Jeff Demps, who's probably even faster and has already had a 72-yard play in this game.
