Florida Vs. Georgia Score Update: Jeff Demps Powers Gators To 17-3 Edge

A 43-yard Florida field goal followed a 99-yard Jeff Demps kick return, and now it's 17-3, Florida Gators, over the Georgia Bulldogs in the first half of the Cocktail Party. Just to give you a sense of how will this is going: both Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson have referred to Aaron Murray as Joe Cox. Murray is five-of-nine for 43 yards.

If not for kicking game difficulties on the part of Florida, it could be much worse. Florida's missed one field goal and been forced to go for it on fourth earlier (then again, they scored a 31-yard touchdown, so maybe not).

Georgia's pass rush has actually looked excellent, sacking John Brantley four times and harassing him throughout. That and Isaiah Crowell's 32 yards are the brightest spots -- but Crowell also let a ball bounce off his helmet for an interception earlier in the game.

If the Dawgs are going to break a piece of a curse in this game, they're gonna have to rally.
