Georgia's 41-14 blowout of Tennessee a year ago in Athens stopping the bleeding - make that gushing - for Mark Richt's worst Bulldog team ever. The win halted a four game losing streak, was the first of three consecutive wins and arguably saved Richt's job.
Not much has changed in 2011, except that in order to an extend UGA's current job-saving three game winning streak, Richt and his resurgent Bulldog defense will have to win in Knoxville this Saturday, something they haven't done since 2005. After Richt won his first three game at Tennessee, the last two meetings at Neyland Stadium have been a Big Orange Crush - UT won 35-17 in 2007 and 45-19 in '09.
A win would be Richt's 100th career "W" at Georgia, joining only Wally Butts and Vince Dooley in school history. Richt's Bulldogs are 35-10 on the road since 2001, a remarkable but somewhat skewed stat, as Georgia is 5-6 in their last 11 away games.
