Georgia Basketball Vs. Wofford Final Score: Bulldogs Defeat Terriers, 62-49

The Georgia Bulldogs were able to come away with 62-49 victory over the Wofford Terriers. The Bulldgogs were led in scoring by freshman Kentavious Caldwell-Pope who had 15 points and Dustin Ware who had 14 points. Caldwell-Pope scored 13 of his 15 points in the first half and did not score in the second half until he connected on a pair of free throws with under a minute left in the game.

Georgia was always in control of this game but they were not able to pull away to a bigger lead due to only shooting 33 percent from the field and 68 percent from the free throw line. Luckily the Georgia defense was able to hold Wofford to 34 percent from the field and forced them to take a lot of three-pointers which resulted in a 3-of-15 showing.

Wofford was led by senior guard Brad Loesing who scored 13 points, five rebounds and four assists. Loesing was one of three Wofford players to score in double-digits, but it was the Wofford perimeter defense that was the difference as they allowed Georgia to make seven three-point shots compared to Wofford's three .
