2012 Georgia Football Recruiting: Faton Bauta A Triple Threat, Approximately

The Georgia Bulldogs have picked up a 2012 commitment from three-star Florida quarterback Faton Bauta, according to pretty much everybody. The West Palm Beach righty from Dwyer High is rated the No. 10 dual-threat quarterback in the country by Rivals.

Standing six-foot-three and weighing 225 pounds, he's had offers from Alabama, Pitt, Utah, and many others. Though he's listed as a quarterback, some have gone as far as calling him a potential Tim Tebow due to his ability to play all over the field.

Bud Elliott, SB Nation's national recruiting analyst, had this to say:

Bauta is a versatile athlete. Think UGA will let him try QB then settle in at H-Back or linebacker. 6'3" 220 and room for more.

Sounds like a player that could give Georgia's offense the kind of tricky player it's beginning to tinker with more and more. Brandon Boykin and Branden Smith might lose carries! Here's a video of Bauta:
