The Georgia Bulldogs open as an early 5.5 point favorite on the road over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. There isn't a lot riding on the outcome of the game for either team other than bowl positioning. The Bulldogs have clinched a spot in the SEC Championship game at the Georgia Dome while the Yellow Jackets have been eliminated from ACC title contention.

Georgia enters the game riding a nine game winning streak after dropping the first two games of the season. The Bulldogs are 7-4 against the spread this season. Georgia Tech comes in at 8-3 and is 5-5-1 against the spread.

This rivalry hasn't been much of a rivalry with the Bulldogs taking nine of the last ten meetings. Georgia Tech is 0-5 against the spread in the last five home meetings against Georgia. The Yellow Jackets are just 3-7 against the spread in their last ten games with the Bulldogs.

Georgia had covered three games in a row before squeaking out a 19-10 win over Kentucky last Saturday. Georgia Tech is just 1-4 in its last five games against the spread and didn't cover as a 10 point favorite against Duke last time out.
