Georgia's backfield picture may not be anymore clearer after Monday's practice but at least we know who is involved. According to Marc Weiszer of the Athens Banner-Herald, running back Carlton Thomas returned to practice today after missing last week's win over Kentucky due to personal reasons.
Players said TB Carlton Thomas practiced today. Ken Malcome got first team work, he said. Isaiah Crowell (ankle) was walking without a limp.
Ken Malcome also reportedly got work with the first team offense and Isaiah Crowell was walking without a limp during practice. This week's depth chart for the running back position is still unclear but you can expect Crowell to start if he is healthy enough to play. He would likely be backed up by some combination of Thomas, Malcome and Brandon Harton which should be worked out at practice this week.
Richard Samuel is still out of action with an ankle injury but could return as soon as the SEC Championship game.
