Georgia Vs. Georgia Tech: Orson Charles On Hate, Paul Johnson On Hope

If the Georgia Bulldogs and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are playing this weekend (YOU WON'T BELIEVE THIS, but they are), it's time once again to assess where this game falls in the UGA rivalry hierarchy. Surrounded by the Florida Gators, Auburn Tigers, and Tennessee Volunteers, the Dawgs fan has no shortage of teams to hate, and the pecking order is usually defined by geography.

Take Orson Charles, for example.

A Tampa man, he thinks of Florida as UGA's No. 1 rival, but says his teammates from the Peach State despite Tech the most. And it sounds like they agree, even as they ready in some part of their minds for the SEC Championship Game on the other side:

Said defensive end Abry Jones: "We all know this isn't just another game on the schedule. I mean, this is Georgia Tech."

And if you thought we'd make it past Tuesday without a quote from Paul Johnson sure to be repeated frequently by one side or the other after the game, you were wrong, as we didn't make it through Monday:

ajcgatech@ajcgatech CPJ on facing #uga: "Nine (wins) in a row, SEC East champs. Hopefully we can stay with them." #sarcasm #gatech
