ACC-Big Ten Challenge 2011: Georgia Tech Falls To Northwestern 76-60

Georgia Tech couldn't overcome a hot shooting Northwestern Wildcats team falling 76-60 at Philips Arena in the 2011 ACC-Big Ten Challenge. The Yellow Jackets fall to 4-2 on the season while Northwestern remains unbeaten at 5-0

Jason Morris scored 16 of his 21 points in the first half to lead the Yellow Jackets. Mfon Udofia added 12 points while Glen Rice Jr and Daniel Miller chipped in 10 apiece. Miller also grabbed a team high nine rebounds. Georgia Tech hit 34 percent of its shots but turned the ball over 16 times. 

Northwestern's John Shurna scored a game high 25 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Wildcats. Drew Crawford added 14 points while Luka Mirkovic chipped in 13. Dave Sobolewski finished with eight points and six assists. The Wildcats hit 55 percent of their shots from the field in the game and came up with 11 steals as a team.
