Georgia Vs. LSU: Dawgs Opt Against Nike Pro Combat Uniforms

The 2011 Georgia Bulldogs began their season with consecutive false start penalties, which they later chalked up to the unexpected loudness of their own backyard facility. They've since peeled off 10 straight wins, most of them quite convincing.

Between then and now, you could point to any number of signs of their blooming maturity, but none tops this: UGA players chose to stick with their regular red tops and silver britches for the SEC Championship Game rather than giving their Nike Pro Combat jumpsuits another chance.

"I thought that'd be a nice incentive," Richt said. "As it turned out, it wasn't much of an incentive."

...

"Nobody even asked me," Richt said. "Matter of fact, a couple of them actually were like, 'Don't do it coach.'"

Say what you'd like about Georgia's chances against the LSU Tigers, but they'll at least look better than they did during their last Dome visit.
