Jordan Spriggs, Auburn Tigers CB, tweeted, "man who is good at writing papers?????????????? i pay..." earlier today. Though his Twitter is protected, former teammate Antoine Carter had a public word with Spriggs, tweeting, "u gotta be the dumbest person in the world lol." This wouldn't be of the slightest interest if it weren't Auburn, but it's Auburn.
Just for the sake of argument, let's assume Spriggs was joking.

If you're in charge of social media strat PR 2.0 at Auburn, don't you have a word with all your players at some point that it's definitely not OK to ever joke about money? That probably should have happened before the Cam Newton thing, but should be repeated twice per day at this point.
