Ray Drew, Sterling Bailey, Nick Marshall, and Nathan Theus Sign Georgia Letters Of Intent

The first batch of Georgia letters of intent have rolled off the fax machines at Butts-Mehre in Athens.

Ray Drew is a five-star 6-foot-5 243lb defensive end out of Thomas County Central. He committed to the Bulldogs on January 28th and has since called out many of his fellow Georgia players to follow suit.Rivals ranks Drew as the No. 1 defensive end in the nation and No. 9 overall.

The sky is the limit for this south Georgia phenomenon. He will most likely see playing time early because of his speed and overall athleticism. He is definitely one of the top players - if not the No. 1 prospect - in Georgia.

Georgia also received a letter of intent from East Hall defensive end Sterling Bailey. Bailey is a four-star rated recruit by Rivals.com. He committed to Georgia in May over teams such as Auburn, Florida, and Tennessee. Rivals rates him as the No. 8 defensive end in the country and the tenth best player in the state of Georgia.

Nick Marshall is a four-star athlete out of Wilcox County Georgia who can play multiple positions. He is expected to play defensive back for the Bulldogs and is also expected to play Basketball. Marshall chose Georgia over Alabama, Florida State, and Georgia Tech among many others.

Nathan Theus is a two-star offensive lineman/long snapper from Jacksonville Florida. Rivals lists him at 6-foot-3, 255lbs. Theus is a potential grayshirt candidate which means he may not join the Bulldogs until January of 2012.
