2011 national signing day was another good one for the SEC, with Rivals updated rankings giving the conference the top two teams in the nation, four of the top seven, six of the top 13, and nine of the top 23. More specifically, it was a very good day for college football teams in the state of Alabama.

The Alabama Crimson Tide solidified their No. 1 ranking by swiping four-star DE Jeoffrey Pagan from the Georgia Bulldogs days after he de-committed from the Clemson Tigers. On the other side of the state, the Auburn Tigers traded on their BCS title by bringing aboard four-star DT Gabe Wright and five-star OT Cyrus Kouandjio -- though the big offensive lineman might change his mind and join his brother at Bama.

The Georgia Bulldogs hurdled the LSU Tigers, jumping to No. 6 with the signing of five-star RB Isaiah Crowell and three-star LB Kent Turene. LSU didn't add any players to its class today, but has gotten all but one signed as of right now.
