The Mississippi Rebels have a four-part plan, according to this banner hanging in what's assumed to be the team's locker room. First of all, it's technically off-season, though offseason is probably OK. Either way, how sad is it that "Beat Mississippi State" is now the No. 1 goal for Ole Miss football?
↵Sure, all the other stuff is listed before, but that doesn't mean they aren't afterthoughts. That's an image of the Egg Bowl trophy taking up most of the banner. That trophy is currently in Dan Mullen's possession, as it was the year before as well.
↵Actually, when you really look at it, they aren't even saying they need to beat Mississippi State to own the state. Winning "in Atlanta," which we'll assume means winning the SEC Championship Game though you never know with Houston Nutt, would more than offset another loss to the Dawgs. However, the Egg Bowl image could also be a red herring. It doesn't say "OWN THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI," after all. There are a whole lot of states out there, and Ole Miss will own one of them when all's said and done.
