Former Georgia Bulldogs DE Jarius Wynn, now a member of the Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers, had a pretty good day yesterday, apart from the horrifying weather conditions in Texas that had New Englanders rending their clothing and then complaining about the cold (I'm like hello genius, you just rent your clothing). Wynn welcomed a son and became a world champion on the same day:
A Super Bowl ring and a seven-pound baby boy named Jarius Wynn, Jr. would have anybody dishing out high fives in the locker room, though it's disappointing the child's first name isn't ALLIDOISWYNNWYNN. Wynn didn't make his way onto the box score last night, but contributed 1.5 sacks and a handful of tackles earlier in the season. For a team as shellacked by injuries as the Packers were, everything counts.
Before playing for the Dawgs, Wynn stopped at Georgia Military College and starred at Lincoln County High and was named First-Team All-GHSA.
