truTV: What Channel Is It? How To Find 2011 NCAA Tournament Games On Whatever This Is

truTV, scheduled to be the television broadcast home of 12 NCAA Tournament first-round games, is an unfamiliar sight on the college basketball fan's viewing schedule. It's based in Atlanta, as are fellow March Madness channels TBS and TNT, but I'd never heard of it. Surprise! It used to be called Court TV.

If you're watching on cable, you might to have to check your local listings, but satellite subscribers shouldn't have any trouble tracking it down. Via HD Sports Guide, plus a couple Southeast-specific notes:

Provider Location Channel
Dish Network National 204, 9430 for HD
DirecTV National 246, 246-1 for HD
BellSouth Southeast 202
AT&T U-Verse National 1164
Comcast National

Varies (58 in Atlanta)

Cablevision All Affiliates 58
Time Warner National Digital HD
Insight Communications Lexington, KY; Columbus, OH 995
Verizon FiOS New York 683

If they're going to air college basketball, they should've just stuck with the name Court TV, am I right? You really need to figure this out by Wednesday, when Gus Johnson shows up.
