LSU Vs. Georgia Final Score: Dawgs NCAA Tournament Hopes All But Locked Up With Win

The Georgia Bulldogs may have just punched their ticket to the 2011 NCAA Tournament, beating the LSU Tigers 73-53 to reach 20 wins on the season. They’ll still have a chance to show out against the Alabama Crimson Tide and in the SEC Tournament, but their body of work should be sufficient at this point.

Gerald Robinson led all scorers with 16 while Travis Leslie added 14 points and 11 rebounds. On Senior Night, senior Jeremy Price put in 11 points while classmate Chris Barnes added six points and six boards. Leslie, a junior, got some recognition as well, with Stegeman Coliseum faithful chanting “One more year” as he shot free throws at one point.

The Dawgs led by only five points at the half, and this one was much more in doubt early on than the final score would indicate. That may seem like the most obvious thing you’ve ever read, but you know what I mean. Still, it’s always nice to see the 2010-11 Georgia Bulldogs close out a win over an inferior team, as it doesn’t always happen that way.
