Thursday night's 2011 NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 started out ham as all hell, with Florida-BYU going to overtimeas Gus Johnson happened and San Diego State gave UConn a tough test. The Gators and Huskies advanced from the early games, waiting to see which teams they'd draw for Saturday night.
UConn didn't have to wait all that long, with Butler outlasting Wisconsin and sparing March Madness any more of the Badgers' completely unacceptable playing style. At one point the popular prop bet was whether Wisconsin could score more than 40 points in one game, with genuine drama regarding the matter around the middle of the second half.
How about the only team to beat Butler in last year's March Madness? Duke collapsed at the hands of Arizona in the night's other game, with the very convincing Wildcats moving on to play Kemba Walker and the Huskies. If you're not excited about these two offenses playing, you're probably a NBA fan who's just going to complain about the really long shot clock anyway.
