Georgia Vs. Alabama Final Score: JaMychal Green Powers Tide To 65-57 Win

The Georgia Bulldogs couldn’t become the only team all season to beat the Alabama Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa, falling 65-57 to the Tide. The Dawgs had a chance to put itself in line for a No. 3 seed in the SEC Tournament and a first-round bye, but now must wait on the rest of the SEC East to finish the weekend to find how low they’ll tumble.

The Tide, however, are making a case for an NCAA Tournament bid, provided they conduct themselves well in the conference tourney.

Trey Thompkins played with a toe injury, leading the Dawgs with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Travis Leslie contributed 15 points as well, but turned the ball over six times. JaMychal Green posted 19 points and nine boards for Bama.

Georgia worked into a two-score deficit with 31 seconds to go, but couldn’t grab a critical rebound that would’ve given them the chance to draw even closer.
