Justin Houston had to wait a while to hear his name called in the 2011 NFL Draft, but his landing place might have been worth the wait. For his trouble, he wound up going No. 70 to the Kansas City Chiefs, the NFL's most SEC-friendly team, a club whose 3-4 system will be able to take advantage of his versatility and a roster stocked with plenty of other young defenders from Eric Berry to Glenn Dorsey.
Character concerns likely limited Houston's draft stock -- he tested positive for marijuana at the NFL Combine after being suspended for two games in 2009 due to substance abuse. Atlanta Falcons fans had been coveting him for several picks and hoping he'd continue to drop.
