South Carolina Vs. UConn, Game 2 Score: Gamecocks Rally, Tie Game Up In Sixth

The South Carolina Gamecocks trailed UConn by two runs until the top of the fourth, when Jake Williams scored Brady Thomas. The Cocks added a run by Adrian Morales in the sixth thanks to a Robert Beary base hit. In the bottom of the sixth, we're all knotted up, 2-2.

Carolina needs the win to avoid having to play Monday night for a trip to the 2011 College World Series. And to avoid losing to a Big East team. Not sure which would be worse.

UConn's Greg Nappo has been strong, going all six innings thus far and giving up just two runs despite eight hits. USC's Colby Holmes had to sit after four innings, but Jose Mata and John Taylor have held the fort since.
