Round 2 of the 2011 Women's College World Series began with a convincing 3-0 win by the Alabama Crimson Tide over the Baylor Bears, sending Bama on to Sunday's semifinals round. The Florida Gators had a chance to upset the No. 1 seed Arizona St. Sun Devils, but Katelyn Boyd swatted home the walk-off single to keep ASU in the winner's bracket.
Alabama will thus take on the Sun Devils next, while Florida awaits Saturday's action. I'm gonna be honest; I stared at the bracket for three minutes and have no idea who goes where at this point.
