Florida Football Program Called Out For Arrests By Mystery SEC Coach

If oversigning is 'morally reprehensible,' what is playing more than a dozen arrested players over the last five or six years? Maybe if Florida oversigned a little, it could kick more outlaws off its team.

-- An unnamed SEC football coach* to Florida president Bernard Machen, who called oversigning and grayshirting "morally reprehensible" in a Sports Illustrated op-ed a few months ago. It's safe to say things got tense at last week's SEC meetings.

Though last year Florida fans got to enjoy the Georgia Bulldogs winning the 2010 Fulmer Cup, Urban Meyer also reached the height of his wardenly behavior by allowing Chris Rainey back on the field weeks after Rainey announced his intentions to kill his girlfriend.

I didn't grow up a fan of either team, but I'd happily accept every UGA player getting arrested for various Washaun Ealey hijinks and adventures if it ensured no threats of murder.
