Georgia Bulldogs offensive linemen Ben Jones and Cordy Glenn have formed a pair on two college football watch lists already, but now it's time for the two to part. As the Rimington Trophy watch list is for centers, Jones is the only Georgia player to make the cut. And that makes sense.
With only four watch lists left to be revealed, the Dawgs could wind up with a player on all but two of the 15 lists. Still up are the Butkus (LB), Davey O'Brien (QB), Doak Walker (RB) and Walter Camp (overall). I'm assuming Aaron Murray makes the O'Brien and Camp lists, but no Georgia linebacker has emerged as a national presence, and Isaiah Crowell isn't going to make a backs list as a freshman.
Still, pretty good stuff.
(Also, do we think the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets can place their second player on a watch list? Roddy Jones and Orwin Smith both seem like good Walker picks.)
