As Aaron Murray goes, so will go the 2011 Georgia Bulldogs. This is not news. But if college football watch lists are any guide, that kernel has not gone unnoticed by the national media as well.
Murray's name appears on the Davey O'Brien quarterbacks watch list, as it did on the Maxwell and likely the Walter Camp as well. The sophomore joins only Chris Relf and Tyler Bray among SEC quarterbacks on the list, and few would be surprised if Murray's season exceeded those of their of those passers.
The Doak Walker list of running backs includes nary a Dawg or Yellow Jacket. If Washaun Ealey hadn't left town, do you think he would've appeared? He was the returning leading rusher from a major SEC program -- that seems to be enough exposure to have at least somebody expecting a breakout season. Alas!
