After Mike Slive's opening remarks at SEC Media Days, the conference revealed a new four-part series of one-hour documentaries by ESPN's 30-for-30 crew on SEC history. The new series will be called Storied. First up: a piece on Georgia Bulldogs hero Herschel Walker's life and upbringing -- including interviews with Vince Dooley and others --to be followed by a doc on the first SEC Championship Game, one of only two to ever be held in Birmingham instead of Atlanta.
ESPN doesn't get everything right, but everybody likes at least three or four 30-for-30 films -- and for whatever reason, the college football stories tended to be the best. All four of these films are almost assured of being excellent.
