For the second week in a row, the Georgia Bulldogs scored first. Wait, that came out wrong. Unlike last week against the Boise St. Broncos, Georgia put together a decent drive to create the first score of the game against the South Carolina Gamecocks. Blair Walsh booted a 37-yard field goal to make it 3-0, Dawgs.
The most encouraging sign: Isaiah Crowell tore off two strong runs, including a 28-yarder, to complie 43 on the drive. Don't think Georgia has forgotten what then-freshman Marcus Lattimore did to them last year ...
Stephen Garcia, he of newfound captaincy, put his solidified starting status in doubt by throwing an ugly interception to Bacarri Rambo, himself recently suspended. The Dawgs took advantage by feeding Crowell some more, getting him up to 65 yards already.
Walsh tacked on the 39-yard kick to make it 6-0.
