Nike is unveiling all of its remaining Nike Pro Combat uniforms on a Tuesday for some reason. You can see pics of each here, including Ohio State's, Army's, Stanford's, Michigan State's, Navy's and LSU's. Most of them are OK I guess. Stanford's isn't easy to look at, other than that flat black helmet.
Michigan State and Navy are the aesthetic winners, as far as I'm concerned. They also both happen to include quotes favored by people who like guns. ("Don't Tread On Me" for the Midshipmen, while the Spartans' bears "Μολὼν λαβέ," or the actual Greek spoken by the actual King Leonidas when demanded to turn his weapons over to the Persian army. It means "come and get them.") Dropping science.
The most important point is that Georgia's all-red jumper was far uglier than any of these and had far less to do with the school's tradition than most of these do. Why does Nike hate you, Georgia?
Seriously, Navy's is dope.
