Georgia Bulldogs coach Mark Richt refused to call last week's game against South Carolina a must win. This week's contest against FCS Coastal Carolina is a much needed opportunity to fine tune things for the remainder of the schedule. The outcome should already be decided but a sloppy performance could send a fan base that is already teetering on a cliff completely off the ledge.
The big on the field news this week is that safety Shawn Williams is taking snaps at middle linebacker to help provide relief after injuries to both Alec Ogletree and Christian Robinson. Sanders Commings will likely move back to safety while Willims works at linebacker.
On the offensive side of the ball, freshman running back Isaiah Crowell earns his first start of the season and Georgia fans hope it is the first of many more. After last weeks 100+ yards, two touchdown performance, the Georgia coaching staff has vowed to get Crowell more touches in the offense. Bulldogs fans hope they don't need them all this week.
