The Boise St. Broncos began producing on offense with about five minutes left in the first. Running back Doug Martin ran with aggression, picking up yards after contact on consecutive runs before Kellen Moore found Tyler Shoemaker to enter the red zone, then Moore zapped Matt Miller 17 yards into the end zone to knot it up at 7-all.
Boise State left guard Joe Kellogg was helped off the field after apparently suffering a leg injury.
Defensive and offensive concerns aside! Georgia's strongest unit, its special teams, which boasts watch-listers for every relevant award no matter how irrelevant you may think they be, is showing out. Every Drew Butler punt has been deep and led to a solid shot on Boise State's return man. Butler is averaging 52 yards, while Boise State keeps doing the Division I-AA mobile rugby punt thing.
