Boise State Vs. Georgia Update: Kellen Moore Not Perfect Tonight

The loudest BOISE STATE! chants of the night so far came when Boise St. Broncos defensive end Shea McClellin bottled up Georgia Bulldogs running back Richard Samuel on a fourth-down conversion attempt within field goal range. The drive had seen Isaiah Crowell's first big run, a physical eight-yarder.

(UGA cornerback Branden Smith forced Boise State's offense back off the field moments later, rocking ... after a Broncos false start. Georgia's next drive was so boring. They punted.)

But the Red and Black faithful's loudest cheer since Georgia's touchdown came when Branden Smith, who wasn't sure to play tonight due to injury, intercepted Kellen Moore, spoiling a promising Broncos drive. That paragraph involved a very forced transition that skipped many minutes of football.

Georgia's special teams, the pride of Athens, committed a miscue when freshman Malcolm Mitchell fielding a bouncing punt and nearly turned the ball over in the red zone.
